Nercon has partnered with Intralox to become a licensed supplier of the Whisper Laner Conveyor. The advantage to our customers is Nercon's 35 years of packaging automation and conveyor controls expertise in providing customers with the most efficient conveyor systems for their application. The Whisper Laner conveyor is another solution that can provide Nercon's customer's with a competitive edge in their packaging line.

The simple concept of the Whisper Laner offers high-speed 1 lane to 2 lane diverting without the need for complex controls or moving equipment to accomplish the divert. The production line will benefit from increased capacity because of the Whisper Laner's ability for high speed random diverting while maintaining a continuous product flow.

How does the Whisper Laner work?
Products that require diverting travel at the center peak of two tilted modular plastic belts. A small puff of air is all that is needed to tip the product into the appropriate lane.

 

Benefits of the Whisper Laner Conveyor

  
Continuous Flow
 Products do not need to be accumulated or even presented in slugs prior to the diverting function. There are no gates or pusher components needed to accomplish the divert. This equipment provides high-speed in-line diverting which increases the efficiency of the entire line. Production Line Flow

 The Whisper Laner can perform product diverts in any combination. Products can be controlled to divert into the required downstream lane creating perfect packaging line balance. Line Balance

Product Integrity
 Package and product integrity remains intact. There is no impact to the package to accomplish the divert. Also, there is no need to back up products so packages are not subject to backpressure during the divert. Package Integrity

 Controls
Simple controls are used for the 1:2 divert. If required, the system can also be designed with additional controls for rejecting, fill level sorting, label sorting, metal detecting and loose cap indentification.

A variety of products can be diverted on the Whisper Laner, including bottles, jugs and cans. It is also an effective diverting solution for handling non-round shaped PET containers.
