Nercon's Servo Technology

Servo Technology is used where accurate placement of product is required. Typical applications would be high speed multi-position swing gates, retractable belt nosers, conveyor devices such as pushers and indexers, and product timing conveyors. The use of Servo drives allows for very exact motion of the device, including acceleration, deceleration and stroke speed.

Retractable Noser Conveyor Servo Controlled Swing Gates Pivoting Conveyors Servo Timing Belt Conveyor

Retractable Nosers Servo controlled retractable nosers provide smooth transfers and exact positioning of product. Retractable nosers can also be used in rejecter applications and in right-angle transfers.

Swing Gates
Whether engineered as a single or multi-gate system, servo gates can achieve higher rates than air operated systems.

Pivoting Conveyors
Pivoting conveyor applications can integrate with numerous discharge or infeed conveyors. Rejecting is another application for pivoting conveyors.

Timing Conveyors
Servo driven timing belts allow for zero contact metering of product. Timing conveyors provide an evenly spaced product flow. The above photo is a Servo Combiner programmed for speed merges up to 200 product/minute.

 

With today's high production rates and new package designs made with lighter weight materials, servo technology can solve the need for flexibility in timing, speed and product control.
