Nercon has the Right ANGLE Angled Roller Belt Conveyors!

The Nercon Angle - Angled Roller Belt Conveyor Technology

Nercon Eng. & Mfg., Inc. has teamed up with Intralox ® to offer the latest in angled roller belt technology. The Intralox ® patented Series 400 Angled Roller Belt (ARB) allows packages to maintain a uniform position without the use of rails for alignment, which not only reduces equipment costs, but also minimizes labor costs in clearing jams or correcting stoppages. The ARB concept is to engage the angled rollers by means of a friction surface located beneath the belt.

Attributes:
Flexibility: The Angled Roller Belt is modular in design. Repairs to sections can be made by pulling the pin and exchanging the section.
Adaptability: The Angled Roller Belt conveyor systems can handle a variety of sizes and shapes of cases. Even fragile packages can be safely conveyed in this system with minimal risk of damage or breakage.
Speed: Angled Roller Belt conveyor systems have been tested at sorting up to 200 packages per minute.
Reliability: Without guide rails and complex gating, production lines using angled roller belt technology show a significant reduction in breakdowns and jams.
Low Maintenance: Fewer components result in less maintenance.

ANGLED ROLLER BELT APPLICATIONS

Horizontal Switching, Diverting and Merging
A free spinning roller below the belt raises to engage the angled roller, directing the package to the designated discharge location. Designed to reduce maintenance and down-time, these ARB conveyors provide greater throughput than traditional pushing arms or moving gates.

Case Alignment
Case Alignment is one of many versatile applications made possible by ARB conveyor technology. The Case Alignment application directs cases or packages to one side of the conveyor without the use of additional equipment. The Case Alignment application can be used for labelers, bar code readers or positioning into palletizers.

Case Turning
Traditional case turning conveyor technology often uses a disruption of momenturn to perform a turn, which can cause skewed cases and jams. The ARB patented belt technology from Intralox ®, aligns cases uniformly along the rail going into and after the turn, ensuring a consistent turn every time. The ARB Case Turner reduces down-time and costs less than other turning solutions because there are fewer drives and less moving parts.

Centering
The unique concept of the ARB Centering belt uses angled rollers that are directed toward the center of the belt. As the product is conveyed, the angled rollers quide the package to the center of the belt. A natural spacing of product occurs as the angled rollers are friction driven from below-causing the rollers to speed up the product flow by 60% or greater.

Sorting/Singulating/Descrambling
Products received from order picking systems or bulk case depalletizers can be easily single filed for conveying. The Singulating/Descrambling Application of the ARB conveyor technology is an effective solution for singulating random products or packages. There is less moving parts which results in eliminating most jams. This is a savings not only on equipment costs, but also labor costs.
